there seems to be more and more 'passengers' being hung over the railings of the titanic every day or so the media reports say.

finchy, first mate of the captain who steered the ship into the iceberg, is amongst the speculated but who'd be willing to offer him a lifeboat.

wing, sitting in first class with a (reported) chip on his shoulder about being made to play in other areas of the ship, would no doubt get picked up by a passing ship pretty quick.

and now edmondson, the boy in the bottom boiler room. never really got his shovel out and dug in, a few injuries turned his time on the titanic into a cruise rather than a working OE. Seems he's organising his life boat and jumping while he still can.

Salford, who will have Wakefield's Michael Korkidas in their pack next season, are also negotiating to bring former St Helens forward Mark Edmondson back from Sydney Roosters.

Finch still has one more year on his contract. wing and edmondson the same.

Who's likely to jump? discussion would be good ;-)

personally, i cant see Finch jumping. He'll have to walk the plank and be prodded with a big stick off the end and this will only happen if we can find someone to take him and probably pay most of his contract for the next year.

wing will jump if able. self preservation at its best. with a few clubs reportedly interested, we'll probably get lumbered with less of his contract to pay next near than finch. we'll only let him jump if it's worthwhile to us. personally, i hope he doesnt go.

edmondson, bye bye, don't care. (harsh i know).

well?

feel free to add more.

They can all go, it'd be much more beneificial to have another 1 or 2 losing seasons with young players getting plenty of experience as opposed to scraping into the 8 with a group of overpaid hacks getting flogged in the first round by whoever finishes first.

I don't want Wing to leave I just want him to wake up and start concentrating on getting back to his best.

As for Finch I've always liked his passion....but his ability...well say no more.

Edmondson hasn't played enough I suppose he has been injured.....can't really comment. I suppose that should be enough to say let him go.

i also think our expectations of edmondson were probly higher than they shouldvbe been due to our respect for our main pom. he was never going tolive up to those expectations and has had a worse year with injuries than morley had in his first and really, just didnt have the goods to make it in first grade from all reports. as long as we dont have to pay out his contract, i'm happy. if we do, then maybe give him the benefit of the doubt of first year homesicknesses, settling period etc etc and make him stay another year.

Edmondson - he can go, never really got going, injury saw to that - but he's no real loss at the moment.

Wing - would HATE to see him go. We all know he has the talent, he just seems to be a bit down on confidence at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised to see him jump ship though.

Finch - see ya later - don't let the door hit your arse on the way out!
