Why did we sign Vagana? He may as well not be there as he didn't get the ball out wide. Bailey kept putting his stupid mug in the centres. Do we have another option for a centre partner for Vagana? Every time he got the ball from dummy half he made good ground but for some unknown reason, Noddy and Waltzing decided not to use him. Farged I know what's happening. I'm really really p*ssed off.

On the plus - Sully played well and should be the fulltime hooker.

Well I guess on the plus side (if there is one...) we were on the right end of the penalty count for a change, albeit only 6-5. Still can't play football though...

Do any of you have Foxtel Digital and watched it through Sports Active? We turned the commentators off and just listened to the ref all game. Mander is an absolute hoot to listen to, he comes out with some gems sometimes! You can definitely pick more up through this than the sports ears at the game!

It's good hey sharkette.
I find if you watch from the coaches view camera nagle you get a better feel for the game.
For mine the directors cut in too close, too much.

Yeah it's awesome. I agree the coach's view gives you alot more perspective on the game, but we watch mostly on the main view because sometimes you like to get a little closer to the action to see something that's happened. Gotta love being able to turn off Warren Smith & Laurie Daley.....

I thought it was a toss up between Peach & Hilder. Hilder is NO 5/8th.

Vagana got little ball but was still our most penetrative player with 2 clean breaks. Bet he wishes he was still at the Dogs. Nobody in support either time. At the Dogs he would've had 3 or 4 blokes to link.
Also, Vagana is on reprt for a head high. Noddy also was penalised for a head high but not on report. Hope he doesn't get cited.
Anybody heard how Beats is. Once he was gone so was the game.

I heard the game through Digital with Mander. He seems to enjoy what he's doing.
Did anyone here when McGoldrick dropped the ball (it hit his shoulder but was called a knock on) and someone said "what the F... are you C.... doing out there?
It wasnt Mander but it sure summed up my feelings.

i thought mander was annoying sharkette ! its not a mander comedy show, despite what he may think, hes there to ref the game. he missed a blatant off side pick up by a cowboy which led to a try. after peachey was stripped one on one, a cowboy came from an offside position clearly tp pick yp the loose ball. mander was too busy playing the clown to notice.

that rule changed about 20 years ago Beeker.
It was a fair try. They all were.
& mander had an exceptional game.
Best of all he was impressed with the Sharks "over" co-operation.

One mistake was Dumas's play the ball.
Pretty good 10 metres, no earlies & fair ruck play.

I have to agree, Mander has steped up to be number 1 this year. Simpkins is still good too but thats where it ends. Clarke is still the worst.

bit harsh on hilder. he had to make 37 tackles you know. also only his secoond game as a 5/8.

noddy did 31 tackles as well. mcgoldrick 27. no wonder they are no good at attack they have no energy left

I hear you Marlin, and you make a good point, but I still don't think Hilder is the solution to 5/8! Trouble is, we don't appear to have ANY solutions at the moment...
