Morris vs Riddell

Morris made 41 tackles and 13 hitups, an excellent work rate.
This is what we need from our hooker. I know Riddell is a different player
but you would have to total his stats for a month, to come close to Morris's stats tonight.

I just hope the Riddell signing pays off

i was originally reluctant for us to sign riddell, but now i'm pretty excited about him coming to us. dumb dickheads suddenly become cool dickheads when they sign for your team. i can't wait to see the nazi salute and all his wacky post-try antics

Well everyone wanted Parra to re-sign Dunley last year. No one mentioned that we already had John Morris.

i think it was primarily fear out of having webster playing in first grade. but i think stapo has helped us realise not all red-heads are awful

The one thing Riddell brings that Morris doesn't is agression and mongrel, we need a bit more of that and I think they'll work well together. I'm very pleased we got him.

I think Riddell will end up starting on the bench with Morris as hooker OR Morris hooker and Riddell in the back row. Could even be Morris 5/8 as said and Riddell hooker and a impact player like Webster.

Maybe but Morris has specifically said he does not want to be starting on the bench. Unhappy players are not good players.

It seems more and more likely than Dykes will leave, don't know whether there is any truth to it though. Morris could slot in at 5'8th, then move to hooker when Riddell comes off the field. Tim Smith or Witt could start on the bench and move into the halves for Morris.
