Heard on channel 10 news contact with Burgess had broken Mortimers nose...did the kid even suggest he actually injured himself? He didnt even call for his trainer?

If this is true, wow, that guy is tough.

He played on for the whole 80 minutes so I am assuming he is right for next week.

A broken nose is not that painful and doesnt limit you that much unless it severly blocks your ability to breath (on a cold night will effect you more then a day game).

In saying that the kid is a tough bugger and im confident that if he and KK can stay together they have enough ability between them to be sucessfull.

Saw him out at dinner after the game last night, and tbh he looked fine.

the little girl he was with wasn't bad either...

tbh, you can pour a pile of sh*t on him and make him where a tootoo over a mankini and he'd still look better than 95% of all men in this universe...prick!!

Hopefully we can string some wins together as the win will give our halves good exp points.

Morts and KK were both very shaky early on yesterday, but are both VERY tough and came home strong like the rest of the team

but guys don't forget that Morts is now almost the chosen one at halfback now - and we know how much pressure and expectation comes with that at Parra and both he and Keats are only very young and are now charged with leading a team with the likes of Jarryd, Timana and Luke in the backline and Cayless, Hindy and Fuifui in the forwards.....daunting to anyone me thinks

they need time....

What a load of crap. Daunting my arse. What, are they going to bite his head off or something? They want to be lead, he just needs to know how to do it. Good halves know how to get the job done, it is instinctive. Everything else is just excuses and a load of rubbish.
