CHAD’S RETURN TO BE CONFIRMED

THE return of Cronulla junior Chad Townsend to the Sharks next season is all but rubber-stamped, with the Shire outfit expected to make an official announcement any day. English Super League forward Mose Masoe is also soon expected to be announced at St George Illawarra, with Eels prop Darcy Lussick also strongly tipped to return to Manly.

Definitely a yes for me. Hits like a ton of bricks, and makes some steam rolling runs. Only negatives, he can give away some dumb penalties and also can clock off during a game. If Mary can remedy those, he will prove to be a very good prop.

We have a side full of 80 min players so a 15 min each half impact player that will go straight over soward will do us just fine.

IMO don't need both Jeremy Smith and Masoe in the same team, as others have mentioned, both probably only good in short bursts. I'd lean towards Masoe cause of his age.

Not sure he's a Panthers fan. He's trolling us as well. In any case I think he'd be a great addition to the Dragon's pack but am hopeful he'll repay us for allowing him to go in the first place.

If Masoe signs with us, it will make for a great squad of forwards in 2016.
If Merrin back-flips I believe Creagh will move to the ESL to allow enough salary cap room.

Merrin is going he won't backflip he has said as much.

Creagh has no intention of going to the UK has to much vested interests in the Illawarra he wants to retire a Dragon and good on him.

Masoe is an interesting one not sure what will happen with this.

Garvey and Mathews may move on.

Masoe is a power player, I remember the showdown with Saffy in 2010 against roosters At SCG I think. However, should only be cheap as he is only able to go for short minutes and gets a lazy IMO. Interesting if Mary and Mulholland see something, especially with interchange reduction.

I know some people on here would be happy if Fonua-Blake was shown the door.
But he will be picked up by another club, so for mine, I would rather we assist in his rehabilitation and ensure he continues to represent the Dragons.
He will be one of the best up and coming front rowers in the game imo.

At the end of the day if they let him go and give Packer a second chance then that would be a little hypocritical.
