Not to mention the Australian captain at 5/8 and an Origin halfback.
Also the best prop in the game, the best second-rower in the game, and a candidate for lock of the year. Also the rookie of the year(Gillette).
They've done well.
Meh, excitement has a lot to do with the way a club is coached, what sort of halves they have, and how strong the forward pack is.
People would say the Dragons of 2005-07 era were "exciting", but they were also "inconcistent". I am not looking for my club to put on a circus performance.. I want them to win.
Look at the Tigers. Very exciting to watch, but also highly error prone and usually finish around the middle of the table. Strong defence wins comps.
EXCITING not EXCRUCIATING
The best backline from the best team I have ever seen!1. Mullins

Canberra weren't over the cap in 94, dipsh*tCanberra were also well over the salary cap aswell.
Lockyer wouldn't even have the 2nd most try assists at the Broncos... As much as I love our captain, Lockyer doesn't create a great deal for the Broncos in attack.
He sends them in the right direction, but basically once he throws that ball back to Hoffman (or Hunt in recent years) it's basically up to Hoffman, the center and the winger to make something of it...
Shows how clueless you are... Gotta love people that rant on about sh*t they don't know about.
Wasn't enough for the GF though1. Hodgson

The architects of the the most points scored in a season, so you could argue they'd be pretty damn exciting. And they were.

It isn't the Dragons backline that is boring it is their style of play.
I would go as far to say that if you put the Dragons backline vs the Broncos backline in a game of touch/oztag, the Dragons would carve them up.
I'd say their lightning fast play the balls + Brad Drew/PJ Marsh were a big part of it.Wow, how did they score so many points? Taylor would have to be one of the most uncreative halfbacks I can remember. Beuttner wasn't much better.
