WESTS TIGERS THANK THEIR UNSUNG HEROES
On Friday 7th May, Wests Tigers players visited nursing homes in the Concord and Camden areas delivering flowers to some of the elderly mothers within our community in the lead up to Mothers Day.
"Mothers Day is an important time to reflect on what our mums have done for us, all the games they attend and their support through the injuries and tough times".
"Friday was a good chance for us to give something back to the community and hopefully put a smile on the faces of some very deserving mothers out there", said Captain Darren Senter.
All the staff and residents at both Concord and Camden Nursing Homes made the Wests Tigers Players feel very welcome and the players, which included, Darren Senter, Mark O'Neill, Benji Marshall, Anthony Laffranchi, Robbie Mears and Bryce Gibbs, enjoyed the time spent with everyone.
A long time supporter of Wests Tigers, Sincerely Yours Florist, kindly donated all the floral arrangements for Wests Tigers players to deliver which were very well received by all the mums.
