Move the dogs/eels game to a larger venue...

This game will be huge. I could see 40,000 turning up to this game next week, and for that reason alone, the game should be played at a bigger stadium. The Showgrounds are not big enough, this game would probably sell out the SFS. I would even consider the olympic stadium, although a bit of atmosphere may dissapear in there..
This could be a financial bonanza for the clubs and the NRL, they will be throwing alot of money down the gurgler if they keep the match at the showgrounds. I wonder if the NRL and the clubs have the vision to move the match, i know that the AFL sometimes moves big games to the MCG if they are expecting a big crowd. The same should apply here, both teams have large followings who are excited about the upcoming finals series...
Come on, this is a game that could really draw a crowd through the roof....Lets get it moved!

I agree with yu 100% MFC, but the clubs and the NRL have to give the public more notice to change the venue. The game willbe a sellout on Friday night and I hope I can get some tickets because the last game was a beauty. Just on the crowds, the NRL should easily pass 100k this weekend. Last night the Dogs v Tigers match drew a crowd in excess of 15k and Parra v Saints had 23k. Can anyone tell me the figures for the Canberra v Cowboys match and Melbourne v Beagles.

Yeah, i know Legend....its another example of bureaucracy at its worst. Everyone knows that the game at a bigger venue would be ideal, its a shame that this probably won't happen. The tickets for this game have already been selling like hotcakes (according to my bulldogs e-news catalogue hehe) and id get in quick smart buddy!
I think we will crack the 100,000 this time....first time for quite a long time if memory serves me (apart from the double header in round 1)

I don't know hw intrested Stadium Australia would be. They are still reconfiguring the ground for the Grand Final and 5 days might not be enough time top clean the place up for a match.

I know the Bulldogs have the best away form in the NRL but what is more important to Bulldogs fans, home ground advantage or an extra 10,000 to a match?
