Movie - Saw

I saw the movie 'Saw' last night and I have to see it was pretty good. It is well written with a good plot, and overall a well made horror-type movie. Some 'horror' moments were actually comical, but that seems to happen in most movies these days.

It wasn't overally scary and wasn't as gory as I expected, however the intrigue of the storyline keeps you interested.

My main dislike of the movie was the acting of Cary Elwes. He was quite poor and his overacting led to me laughing at him rather than having sympathy for his character. But overall, pretty good movie, especially considering the low budget. Definitely worth seeing

i saw it tonight and it wasnt too bad

didnt seem much like a horror movie to me, and the ending made it look like there could be a number 2 (which i think there may be because i saw some thing on showtime movie news about a Saw 2 possibly being done)

also the ending (as the person who was doing it) was very surprising aswell

definatly a FREAKY movie, if you want to be freaked out watch this- its not scary, but more unnerving

There is definitely going to be a Saw 2. However the young Aussies who wrote and directed the first one, haven't signed on to the 2nd one yet. It was the studio decision to create a 2nd one after the success of the first. It wasn't planned when it was written.

It was a great movie. It was more of a thriller than a horror movie. Much better than I thought.

I caught 'Saw' last weekend and thought it was one of the better thrillers of the year.
Although in some ways to say it was one of the better ones is more of an indictment on the quality of Thrillers released this year. Apart from Collateral they have been at best mediocre (Gothika, Secret Window, Taking Lives) or just plain terrible (Twisted).

I saw Saw this morning, and until the last 20 minutes I was loving it. They kept adding little bits and pieces, I never really could figure out the good from the bad. But the last 20 minutes, myself and my friend were in fits of laughter, it jumped the shark at ludicrous speed.

I'd still say I enjoyed it though, it's not one I think I'll ever watch again.
