I would dearly love to see the NRL pull the trigger and send in a team to gut the Wests Tigers corporate structure and start again. Destroy the JV agreement and start again so we are not hamstrung by the archane principles and people holding us back from moving forward

Aren't the owners of the Wests Tigers the two old clubs?

Regardless, the Tigers need board members with no ties to either of the old clubs.

They can be owners of Wests Tigers with no NRL license or they can do what they are told.

This isn't going to happen...can you see either club letting go of ANY semblance of power and influence?

The big issue is the board getting over themselves ans realising there is ONE team just like the majority of the fans have.

Penrith are/were in a not too dissimilar situation to ours.

Moral of the story - tough decisions need to be made. I think the CEO and (hopeful) board shakeup is a good start if done properly. Can only sort out the football side of things once that's all sorted.
