It will dickhead
the embarrassment of accor sitting empty while 80K are at the MCG watching the NRL GF , or where ever & these places will still pay plenty for the privilege ... will get a reaction.
How many votes do you think building a few stadiums in Sydney will win v building infrastructure in flood effected areas in NSW ?

So you would be happy for Tasmania to host the GF then? No teams in SA,WA, NT or Tasmania, hardly equates to a National sport.
Tasmania don’t have a suitable stadium but if the NRL set minimum guidelines for stadium size or capicity then it can go whereever.
Realistically you have a minimum sized stadium of 50k, you have options in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland and perhaps Adelaide.

Haha about 400k a game, or less than 10% of the population.
thered be a million people in Sydney who'd watch at least one NRL game a week every week
1 in 5
& another million in the NSW regionals watching at least one game a week ..1 in 3
they're the figures that will have parrotturds little pooper valve tightening up a bit ..

Nsw govt are playing this Well
”we have bigger priorities with people in need right now”
”we’ve delivered two stadiums with a third on the way”
”we’ve always said this is a staged startegy and the next stage is penrith”
”we haven’t said we are not going to do it when the time is right”
”why would nrl punish its fans in Sydney”

the 90% of sydney folk who don’t avidly follow NRL would be reading all that and going, ”yep fair call”.

compare that to vlandys whose coming across as a selfish naive fool.
