Watched every episode and my summary is there's not enough about Vince, just more focused on everything WWE and Vince stuff we all knew.
I've seen better fan made and WWE documentaries that go into more detail about the business and Vince than this clickbait of a series.
I know people will watch it still but really you dont learn anything at all.
I used to love Bret Hart as a kid and teen, he was my favorite wrestler for a while. But as I got older, I started to dislike him more because of his bitterness and massive ego. Shawn Michaels has found peace, Brett needs to do the same. Also, wow, Bret Hart really is full of himself.
Bret is tapped and always has been. For a bloke who was at the top for a long time he is a bitter mother f**ker.I guess the thing is that he is so self absorbed. It colours my view of the screw job. In hindsight, I think Bret really did screw Bret
I just wanted a documentary on him. None of that other shit we know already.I've only watched two episodes so far but for me the main issue so far is Vince's career would takes a lot more than 6 episodes to do justice. A documentary on him is by extension a documentary on the WWF/E and arguably a documentary on the North American professional wrestling scene in general.
The major topics discussed in the first two episodes are
Hulkamania and the advent of Wrestlemania
Vince going national and the destruction of the territories
The Zahorian Steroid trial
The working schedule in the late 80s
Various scandals from that era
The downturn of the business in the early 90s
Turner entering the industry and signing Hogan
Each of these are massive topics that could each be 6 episodes long.
The Blue Meanie clears up misconception with the blood statin shown on the McMahon doc.The show continued and got to see some close ups of wrestlers that approached the blood stain where Owen fell.
It was surreal seeing the Rock break character for a split second when he saw the blood.
