I don't think there was any really any speculation that he would be... but I'm thankful that he's not coming here anyway.

As for Dykes... thumbs up if he comes over, especially if he's on the cheap. Speaking of cheap, Greg Bird would've cut thousands off his market value recently. A good bargain to retain him too, I reckon.

Mr El Garbo, probably not

but the reaction of horror would lead the benevolent Miss duck to allay the fears of the people! <<heheheheheheh>>

Mr Bird waould be at about 100/1 for an offer from anyone right now

a 20 year old large 5/8 with first grade experience

of course bird would be an attractive prospect to most clubs

this guy has potential and brain explosion aside his last 2 games were good

I'm not sure if you would call them a club as such but it sounds like he has an offer now.

Bird has thankfully thrown eggs all over my face. His form in the last couple of games has been outstanding, it's a pity he's not playing this week, because I think he could well have made a difference.

NOt sure Ducky.

I think bird for his experience and talent would be a good buy for plenty of clubs, he certainly has been hard done by with the press regards to his record.

I am doubtful that he is a 5/8 though, always have been as I have said before, I think lock or 2nd row is his future.

Couldn't agree more.

I'd love to see him at lock and Kent at 5/8th in 3 weeks.

What about him as a centre too Mcsharkie ? that is another postion I can genuinely see him in at sometime in his career .

OUr back row in my opinon has been one of the shining lights this year, Iceman and bickers along with the emergence of Dumas has really bouyed my confidence that we are getting back to our days of having the best backrow depth in the league.

i dont know guys

i think he thinks fast enough on his feet for 5/8

i think he would be wasted amongst the meatheads in the forwards and under utilised in the centers

for all his faults not many would disagree he is still the best 5/8 option at the club ...this at 20 years of age!!

No I dont agree Millers.
& neither does Stu Raper anymore by the sounds of things.
Rapes is very, very happy with JK & has made it public.

Yep. I have said in the past that I think he would be a good option in the centres. A little question over his pace though.

I don't see him as a 5/8th anymore.

He is strong, has a great step, can offload in traffic (if he has support) and backs up.

Sounds like a good lock to me.

He hasn't said it. yet.
But before I he would have immediately said it.
But on the direction of the team on the weekend he singled out JK for special mention.
In the post game he also made very public his appreciation for JK's defense & steering the team when it mattered. To me it sounded like he was not supposed to do that & either Sully or Bird were supposed to.
He was only asked of Birds tackle, & his comment was the standard reply.
