Their last two albums have stunk, seen them a few times live and they were excellent. Would still probably see them again.

Hope they tack NZ onto the end of that tour, seen them 5 times since 2004 (incl 3x BDO) & always enjoy their shows. Not a big fan of latest album either but some of those songs would be more epic live.

went on friday night and had a great time.

was actually impressed with some of the last 2 albums stuff live - opened with supremacy from the last album and it was damn good.

the oldies were still the best though - knights of cydonia, plug-in baby, time is running out were awesome.

birds of tokyo were the support and they were really good too - never seen them before, the crowd got right into them.

I used to be a big Muse fan until the main guy started wearing tin foil hats. That last few albums have been very underwhelming, but they still put on a good show I guess.

Has been an awesome weekend, Muse were absolutley incredible! Then on Sunday Helmet & The Melvins to put the cherry on the cake.

Went to the Sydney show. Setlist was an abomination plus they played 10 mins shorter than their other Aussie shows.

Have loved every one of their shows previousl but this one was a waste of time. Wasting 10+ mins playing album filler tracks like Guiding Light and explorers? Using f**king Starlight as an encore track? No New Born, Stockholm Syndrome, or Citizen Erased? Worst part for me was that Matt completely mailed it in all night. Solos were short, he didn't even bother playing half of the actual music on the tracks (no piano guitar during Undisclosed Desires) and I counted 2 tracks where he completely ditched the instruments entirely and just sung.

Was very disappointed with most of it to be honest, which is a shame as they are one of my favourite bands

Yeah, well I never really noticed it until the mid 00's.

It was when he started talking shit about 9/11 conspiracies that got my attention. I notice he backed away from a lot of that shit really quickly... at least publicly.
