If we had a capable replacement, I also think thats a great move.

putting Buettner in the centres wont help his inability to tackle. How someone can be beaten for strength by Chris Hicks I will never know

cheers

at least we know Collis has the talent. Yo dont get the wraps he gets for nothing. He didnt have chance today but held his own apart from the one spilt ball. He is part of our future and the more game time he gets the better

cheers

what did collis do right to deserve a spot for next week ?

What did he do worse than anyone else,to give him the flick after 1 chance.Several players are on there umteenth chance by now,but are still in the side!

I refuse to name a team, because it is the same players who didn't try today that will play next week, since we do not have adequate replacements.

It's like a merry-go-round. We are going no-where.

How would you know if we have adequate replacements or not???How many lower grade games have you watched in the last 2 years???

Enough to know that almost all of our juniors are not ready for first grade as yet, Mr Positive.

It`s funny how most other teams in particular Souths can pluck players regarded half as talented as our youngsters whom most were representative players all through their junior careers, give them a start in 1st grade and PRESTO they are suddenly a much more competitive side!Amazing that, isn`t it???

What's also amazing is that a side such as Souths can attract some decent players to the club, whilst we still wait in anticipation in the hope of signing a half decent forward who can break the line.

I'm not saying we don't have good juniors. But apart from Halatau, Harrison and possibly Marshall, they aren't ready yet.

Add to that Liam Fulton.I can assure you he is ready, but has to start in his rightful positions of either lock or 5/8.Bryce Gibbs is ready defensively, but will admit he needs plenty of improvement in his metre making.I was also a little disappointed in Dean Collis today, particularly his lack of committment in defence, however he has too much ability to discard after one chance.Robbie Farah must be close to getting a game,it`s not as if Senter and Mears set the world on fire each week!
