My wishlist ...

1. Sack current management, bring in the fire brigade to hose down the place, and bring in a new team led by Eddie Mcguire or Gus Gould.

2. Give Henry his marching orders immediately.

3. Reverse the coaching arrangement for 2009-2011 and throw bucket loads at Bellamy.

4. Use 50% of the cap to attact 6 marquee players to the club.

Who in particular?
Which aspect is not performing?
Which board members should be sacked?

More details... its not enough to say sack management, who needs to be sacked and why?

It's pretty obvious that we need to keep management.

And whoever proof reads the contracts needs to be promoted!

For the record, my solution:

1. Ditch these get out jail free cards in our contracts, which based on what McIntyre said after the Henry debacle, is already being done.

2. Short term, Buy a quality hooker, word around the traps is we're chasing Stuart Flannigan hard. So that looks to be on the agenda. Buy a good harden front rower to replace Logan. Dave Shillington fits the bill. And looks to be getting squeezed out of the roosters side... get mal involved in this deal, Shillo's a QLDer. Mal is QLD coach. 1 +1 =2

3. Give 100% support to Dave Furner and his lads. A clean slate, if he turns out to be ordinary, so be it cross that bridge if and when it comes. The last thing Dave needs is fans death riding him, just to be able to say "i told you so"

4. Continue to buy and identify quality juniors and rely on our development system which is one of the best in the league, it was good enough to win us 3 comps before, it'll be good enough do it again, particually if it keeps producing blokes as talented as the Picker boys, respective Carney's, and luring talents of Zillman and Thompson's qualities.

5. Believe in this club and never lose faith or passion. We are the canberra raiders and as far as im concerned, no other side is fit to wipe our arse.

Sounds like a great "5 year plan".

I think we've been through all that ... the time has come for management to recognise the fact that they are incapable of running a professional RL club and to stand down their positions. It is about time the board ceased handing out positions based on genes.

Sooner or later they will be forced into a situation where explanations will be requested, not just from concerned supporters but also from the NRL itself.

We are an absolute laughing stock in the world of NRL ... and the longer nothing is done about it the longer it will take to dig ourselves out of the hole we currently find ourselves.

Supporting the club and supporting management are not the same thing.

nothing 5 years about that, the last 2 points are ones every club and fan should adhere to imo... the first 3 can all be effected from this year onwards

but we know you never let the facts get in the way of a good ol' management bitch fest.

Bay56 found wanting when questions are posed to him?
Why am i not shocked!

The fact is your question was so ridiculous it warranted nothing more than emoticons.

You may want to support management ... I will not.

The facts are this club cannot afford to contract an untested FG coach ... the risk is there that he will fail ... he may not, but the risk is there that will probably take 3 good seasons to realise and 6 good seasons for his brother to do something about it ... the club needs to sign a reputable coach that is capable of giving players a bit more certainty.

The club needs to change tac in all football matters that relate to decisions taken for the promotion of this club on the football field ... they have proven over a sustained period that they are incapable of making those decisions.

The time has come for the board to realise that more is required than family and friends.

I'm not asking for you to change your mind ... imo you have been brainwashed by talk on what plans management have in store for this club.

My opinion on management is and always has been based on performance ... and the most important aspect of performance is results on the footy field ... it's an easy equation.

GM Bay56 ... yea whatever ... It is not my performance in question here.

Bumbies will be playing half their home games in Melb next season I think ... or when 14's have a home and away season.

can't see it happening for a few years yet. Definately not next year, 3 games wouldn't be worth the effort.
