I kinda know how it's used by bands and such with bulletins or whatever they're called. But given the singer of one of my favourite bands at the moment (Manic Street Preachers) claims not to even have an email address, I don't think I'm missing out :lol:
i think the size and popularity of myspace has scared people, but as far as i can see, it's unwarranted
I'm not really scared by myspace, but I do think that there are some quite sinister undertones associated with it, given it's size and the apparanent monitoring and storing of data that goes on there. Throw into the mix the news ltd link and then...:crazy:
Not everyone is as smart as you or Strider, some people, particuarly younger people, may give more personal details through the site. Do these people know that their data and logs are stored and do they know what it is infact used for? It's all very 1984.
