You can not name players from outside of the Australian squad besides a replacement for the injured Tahu. Mason will retain his spot.

I am not sure if ESL players will be available, but if they are name them for New Zealand if you wish.

4- Tate
5- Grothe (in for Tahu)
6- Lockyer (C)
7- Johns (1st choice GK!!!!!!!)
8- Civoniceva
9- Buderus
10- Price
11- O'Donnell
12- Fitzgibbon
13- Kennedy

14- Gower
15- Ryles
16- O’Meley
17- Waterhouse

18- Ryan

O'Meley got belted from pollar to post against NZ A, and also couldn't make a tackle to save his life.'

4 props on the bench? I know Solomona plays backrow but he usually plays prop when he's benched.

1. Mini
2. King (just!)
3. gasnier
4. Tate
5. Cooper
6. Lockyer
7. Joey
8. Civonoceva
9. Buderus
10. Price
11. O'Donnell
12. Fitzy (one last chance)
13. Barrett

14. Farah/PJ Marsh
15. Ryles/Bailey

We need a back on the bench with speed that is what killed us in the first game!

They'll probably move Kidwell to lock, Anderson to hooker and Puletua to second row.

He was so dominant before he got injured this year, he could cause havoc again.

That would be a good move I think, Puletua's experience is invaluable.

18th Man: really i should have Puletua in there cause he is a machine, But i just cant seem to think who to drop! Solomona had a very solid game last night so its a tough 1!

I'll probably drop Fitzy but can't think of a replacement yet. Bowen I agree should be on the bench. The backup hooker I would replace with a forward as Bowen could play hooker if needed.

the only problem I see with matty Bowen is that his defence isn't good enough to play hooker.

Yeah but honestly we were SO slow out of dummy half. If they want to rest Buderus for periods fine, but we need someone who has pace, Wing, Farah, Bowen, or PJ Marsh are about the only candidates! Bowen can also cover any injury in the backs!

Newton maybe but he isn't in the squad or Creagh but I am not sold on him yet!

Whatever the team is, it needs a impact hooker of the bench. Wing usually gives us that.

Gower was superb, why are so many people dropping him?!

Yes he was good but he is a halfback. No disrespect to him at all but he is too slow to be a "impact" hooker. Look at the difference between NZ'S reseve hooker (from the Cowboys, forget the spelling all the time) and Gower. He played well but I don't remember him having a great impact on the game, solid that is about it. That is why I'd rather Bowen or Wing or PJ Marsh

I think the opposite, I think Gower's pretending to be a halfback and should be a hooker permanently.

Gower's got a bit of speed actually, plus you don't need top speed to spark a side, it can be done in plenty of ways. Dropping Gower is very harsh.

The problem i see with Matty bowen is that he isnt even in the squad... so i dunno why you choose him in the team
