NATHAN Hindmarsh knocked back offers from English Super League giants Wigan and St Helens to remain loyal to Parramatta this week. Hindmarsh was granted permission to leave the Eels a season before his current deal expires.
Instead, in a move sure to warm the hearts of the Parramatta faithful, he sacrificed the big bucks and extended his career at Parramatta for another two years.
Hindmarsh's re-signing is one of the few major player announcements Parramatta are expected to make ahead of 2010.
The only other name players in their sights are Roosters pair Shane Shackleton and Craig Fitzgibbon, and Bulldogs playmaker Daniel Holdsworth, who has barely been seen in the top grade this year.
In other news, hard-hitting centre Beau Scott is certain to join backrower Ben Creagh in signing a new deal at the Dragons.
