I know this thread is just a fantasy or speculation. But in reality, are there any Kiwis who could crack the All Blacks in a year, the way Rogers, sailor, and Tuquiri have done with the Wallabies?

I would say that any one of Utai, Meli, Jones, Rauhihi or Robbie Paul could crack the All Blacks with a year's Rugby underneath their belts - Brad Thorn went from being a League second rower to a Union second rower. Kearney or Wiki probably could have done it when they were younger, but now that both players are over 30, I'd imagine that it would be a little too hard.

Steve, I don't think any of the kiwi backs could. Maybe the squad but they wouldn't get in the starting line up. The All Blacks backs are just too strong.

I reckon Ali Lauititi (sp?) would make a good backrower in union though given a year to get used to the game.
