i dont mind it Love will be a good player imo so will mayo

but the best thing about it is we get miller and Miller,Mccants and Foye are all in the top 20 3 point %

i think this trade will help us become a better team and if it doesnt Miller a great asset to have

C-Jefferson/Collins
PF-Love/Cardinal
SF-Miller/Gomes?
SG-Mccants/Brewer

Raptors a good choice for Nate.

Hardly(make that none) any centres on the team, so expect him to sign. he'll get good minutes backing up JO and bosh, provided he shows he belongs of course.

What happens to 2nd rounders? Do they just play in the summer leagues and go to practice squads??

Not enough drama in a NBA draft! Is it just me or do the NBA players sound less articulate than the NFL rookie... 'Dey gettin a hard workin player who wanna win' x 60. I like the speed of the draft but thats about it...

They become as good as they want to be, dont get a guarenteed contractbut thats no obstacle.

Redd, Arenas, Ginobili, boozer and my man R-r-r-r-amon Sessions are all secound rounders.

And I dont agree with you about the NBA draft, its much better then the NFL draft which is so long and boring, you basically know who going where before the draft starts.

I can't stand the NFL draft mainly cause of the limited impact that the rookies have in their first season. I mean, one of the big stories pre-draft last year was where Quinn and Jamarcus would go, and as it turned out, neither of them even played last year.

NFL draft can't give you the same hype that an NBA can, i challenge the NFL to bring up and draft in recent times that brought about the same amount of hype that Lebron's class of 03' brought to basketball fans.

That 2003 draft was an abberation! Look at every other year.

Unlike the NFL where rookies like Adrian Peterson,, Patrick Willis and Vince Young are basically changing the way the game has been played. It's long, but there are draft day trades and other elements you have to take into consideration.

2002 - Yao, Stoudermire, Boozer, Tayshawn Prince
2003 - Lebron, Wade, Melo, Bosh
2004 - Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Deng, Iguodola,
2005 - CP3, Deron Williams, Bynum
2006 - Brandon Roy (i'm pushing it i know). Probably the only draft in recent times with limited talent
2007 - Oden, Durant, Horford
2008 - Rose, Beasley, Mayo

Fair collection of talent in recent years. I'm not ripping NFL talent, its just that it generally takes longer for NFL players to have a big impact on the league than NBA stars.

Half of the guys listed aren't even all-stars! If we are comparing immediate impact, it's no doubt that a team in the NFL can have a one or two year turn around with an excellent draft.

Unless you're drafting Lebron James, that is not the case for the NBA franchises. Most rookies usually don't even start, while first rounders are usually on the field from day one.

not pushing it - he is a all star

Aldridge, Foye, Gay, Brewer, Rondo.. All very good players

It was a fairly deep draft in regards to filling up depth

Gay is a star ,he avg 20ppg 6 rebounds 3 assists and a block shot in there 2nd full season

Rondo is still a work in progress i wish we got him in the deal for kg though

Brewer had a great year for utah i dont think hes that great though, unless hes on your fanasty team

Alridge = good but hes still inconsistant

Foye is still stuck between pg/sg ,wolves are struggling to find out where top play him
though he played pg in april where he avg 20-6 for that month

Larry Bird what were you thinking? We get a steal at 11 in Bayless and he trades him and Ike Diogu to Portland for Brandon Rush and Jarret Jack and some d-leaguer.

Indiana's reconstructing there team. They need to get rid of Tinsley though.

But Josh McRoberts in return aint bad, plus they got TJ Ford now.

Loving the work Kevin Pritchard is doing for Portland, he's become a master at getting other GM's to agree to trades that are one-sided in the Blazers favour.

Portland are really setting themselves up nicely to be a top team for a long time, Jerryd Bayless/Brandon Roy/Travis Outlaw/LaMarcus Aldridge/Greg Oden is going to be a nasty starting 5 in a year or two, and they have plenty of bench depth as well.

They have a mountain of cap room coming up for 09 off season with all the talk that they will move after Deron Williams

Need to upgrade Outlaw but imo

that move to trade away Randolph, which i initially thought was terrible, is really paying of now. Plenty of cap room and core of very good youth talent. The way they acquired Bayless was an absolute steal as well
