NBA Hall of Fame Induction

Caught some highlights from it on ESPN. The class includes Jordan, David Robinson, Stockton and Jerry Sloan. Admittedly i haven't followed the HOF much in recent years, but that is one damn good class. Can't imagine a year producing a better one. Imagine trying to top a class that had;

One of the greatest players of all time, one of the greatest all-round forwards of all time (even if The Dream did pawn him ), the NBA's all time assist and steals leader, as well as one of the games most recognizable head coaches. Caught Jordan's speech on ESPN and i absolutely loved it, provided some great insight into the man himself.

His "There will never be another Michael Jordan" quote will no doubt get tons of playing time, although i think it will become mis-interpreted if people don't actually listen to the context in which he makes the statement, in which i whole-heartedly agree with him.

I agree that that is one helluva good HOF class, I myself haven't followed the previous HOF classes much but this one is definitely a good one.

Bit shocked to read this. I mean I knew Jordan wasn't perfect but then to read:

.. and then read other message boards saying all over the place that he always was and always will be a jerk sure has me a bit bummed!

Interesting, they certainly did show those bits on ESPN!

Will have to try to find them and see if they are as bad as that article makes out.

Well speeches like that are kinda meant to be humble and thankful speeches, sounds like he went and did the opposite. I didnt see it, will have to try and track it down.
