What are Toronto thinking. Vilaneuva one of their best behind Bosh in a rookie season.

Allen Iverson is almost a definate to leave the 76 ers. Portland made about 100 trades during the draft most notably that one and Tyrus Thomas for Lamarcus Aldridge.

yeah i left most of the draft trades alone too much to type when the warriors was coming up.

they had alot of pf's in their team and while he can play sf they needed a guard to cover in case mike james left in free agency and this will allow their no1 pick to start.

toronto was in talks first with the bucks to get toronto native magloire but that couldn't get done.

Stojakovic agrees to terms with Hornets

By JEFF LATZKE, AP Sports Writer
July 1, 2006

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The New Orleans Hornets made the first splash of the NBA's free-agent signing period, agreeing to terms Saturday with three-time All-Star Peja Stojakovic.

Stojakovic, who last week opted to become a free agent instead of continue playing for Indiana, will sign a five-year deal worth about $64 million with the Hornets, said his agent, David Bauman.

Well done to New Orleans definently a good signing.

Hornets: chasing hard for Ben Wallace.

Nets: Cliff Robinson is now a freeagent and the Nets are looking into Rasula Butler as a target.

Spurs: Resigining 2001 draft pick Robertas Javtokas. Want to sign Nazr Mohamid for the same salary but a 4 year extension. If they can't get Nazr then Joe Przbilla. Ben Wallace is out of their price range.

The Spurs also will explore trading for a center. Milwaukee's Jamaal Magloire is on the market, and Philadelphia and Chicago could entertain trades, respectively, for Samuel Dalembert and Tyson Chandler. Dalembert and Chandler would fit well with the Spurs. Both are young, run the floor well and block shots. Both, however, also have significant contracts: Dalembert has five years and $55.7million remaining; Chandler, five years and $54million." San Antonio Express-News

"The Spurs have looked into trading Brent Barry and the rights to Argentine forward Luis Scola, but they also may need Mohammed's cooperation in a sign-and-trade to pull off a deal. Interest in Scola, so far, has been lukewarm."

"Another option for the Spurs would be to try to sign an athletic forward such as Washington's Jared Jeffries, the Los Angeles Clippers' Vladimir Radmanovic or Phoenix's Tim Thomas and move Duncan to center."

I would like to see the spurs sign Jared Jeffrie or Tim Thomas and moving Duncan to centre. I dont like Vladimir Radmanovic but any other option could work good.

I dont think anyone wants Latrell he's behaviour is too outlandish and hes getting old.

With that offer to Wallace by the Pistons you'd think he will leave. IMO he his worth much more. Could be the end of an era for the pistons team.

its about 12-13 million $$$ a season for purely a defensive center with little offense. BTW he will be the highest ever paid Piston if he accepts. The only team that would be willing to match that is the Bulls who are fighting hard for his signature.

Bulls: Ben Wallace accepts offer from the Bulls for $52 Million over 4 years. A couple of Tyson Chandler possible trades include to NO for PJ Brown which would give the Bulls some more cap room next year. Also a trade with the Hawks and Warriors involving a sign and trade of Al Harrington. "(The Bulls) have been shopping 7-footer Tyson Chandler around the league in hopes of getting a more offensive-minded big man, perhaps someone like Golden State's Troy Murphy or Utah's Carlos Boozer, and had their free-agent sights on a less-expensive center such as Joel Przybilla or Nazr Mohammed."

Hawks: Signed Speedy Claxton for 4 yr $25 million. Harrington certain to leave Atlanta and possibly sign with Pacers or Warriors.

Suns: signed Lindsy Hunter

Bonzi Wells: Wants a 5 yr 8$ million deal but the Pistons might not be willing to pay that much. Denver is still chasing his signature.

NUggets: shopping Kenyon Martin for a SG.
