I think the NBL should make the following rule changes to bring it into line with the NBA to make the game a little more exciting as I am of the opinion we are 3 point happy whereas I prefer watching someone drive to the basket and jam.

1) Ban the Zone defence.
2) Extend the 3 point line.
3) Mark the paint under the basket so players will kneo where they can stand to attract a block or a charge.

These are just of the top of my head and does anyone have any other changes they would like to see?

Zone is legal in the NBA now.

But to add to the list, you'd probably need to include:

thats a good point. Isn't it funny that whenever they show a slow-mo replay of great plays in the current game in the NBA that half of them are clear travels.

How about Rad's fast break dunk in game 2 to bring the Lakers within 2 points - he took 71 steps!!! Lakers complained about not getting any calls but how about that!

Been a problem for Team USA in some recent international tournaments with the international refs calling those travels. I think that's fair. They also need to watch the pivot foot more closely, there's a lot of guys that get the benefit of being big-name players who switch pivot foot or walk.

TBH if you just make the 3sec rule in the key i think it would make it a better game.
