Necessary team bonding or unprofessional?

Yep, the Sharks were down at Taren Point Hotel yesterday afternoon and evening getting on the drink. Nigel Vagana apparently without a care in the world.

You be the judge.

Nothing wrong with it.
Seems like a lot of the guys don't fit in, or don't have the confidence to fit in with others.

As long as they weren't smashed I've got no dramas.

As for Nigel not having a "care in the world", so?
He doesn't make up his case for defending that so called "high tackle". If he goes to the judiciary, he just shows up and sits there quietly.

I think he is one of the boys that needs to get to know his team mates. A day on the piss does that.

Depends how seriously they were going at it. I don't really have a problem with players getting together in the early part of the week as long as they aren't impaired at training the next day. They are paid big sums of money to be professional footy players and they ought to be 100% going into training, but they're not going to live like monks.

What we need is a spy out there today to tell us who's suffering this morning.

They couldn't possibly play any worse than they have for the past two weeks, so a night on the booze might work wonders. 8)

I dunno what the first post says but there is nothing wrong with using team bonding as an excuse to get pizzed.

Interesting, though someone said Nigel looks like a bloke who needs to get to know hes team mates, i get that feeling to, so i got no problems with them having a drink and a laugh, though also they should not be getting sloshed and turning up to training still tanked, though i dont think that happens with our boys.
Aslong as they train hard and put in effort on the field, they can booze on, but they also have to start winning the pea hearts

So the consensus is that it's fine to get drunk on a Tuesday after a big loss?

Guess so. I just hope they are being worked very hard at training this morning to catch out those that can't handle it.

Provided they were not required at training, no issue. Spare time - do what you want.
I find encouraging they were drinking together, without having too.

It is all good as far as I am concerned.

Exactly. What they do offthe field is their business. They need to be right for training the next day too but other than that, go for it. 8)
