I can't figure out why he isn't penalised for his play the balls. He doesn't come close to putting his foot on the ball. He just basically throws it under his foot.

don't know who you are talking about - but wasn't there a relatively recent rule change that a play the ball was ok as long as it looked like the player was attempting to use the foot

He's a beast ! Only reason his play the balls look sloppy is beacue they are so fast compared to the other mortals on the field.

I love finals time when new arrivals and old posters from yesteryear jump on LU and post non-sensical threads like this one. It just adds so much flavour.

And on that note, paging @SLRBRONCOS who is our resident expert on play the balls.
NAS should be in Kerobokan! But instead he's playing tunnel ball

Nelson is above the law.

Raised knees and elbows, no issue, head highs, diving at knees, all good. He can play the ball however he likes.

Rules apply to others.

Should get GROTD involved too, all he knows is how to play with balls

I remember that time he knocked DWZ into another planet with an "unintentional" knee, he was gone before he hit the deck. Nothing happened in terms of punishment.

Is there a more overated player in the comp? 6 runs for 40m tonight according to nrl.com. Big f**k who gasses after two runs and is easy to bring down if you hit him low.

He's the Kikau of the Storm.

Great for fourth tackle charges on retreating defences after the rest of the team busted their guts to do tackles one to three.

His pack of plodders don't offer him that luxury now.

Most overrated as a player, most under rated as a piece of shit. He's the scummiest player playing for the scummiest club.
