Yer bigtim, that shows how good the Broncos O-line is, and that its not always the back who is talented, they need a line to work their magic! saying that.. portis is one great running back, i still dont know if broncos are better with champ and not portis :roll:

Its also the Gibbs running style. Shanahan gets his line to open holes off the snap and the RB runs through them, Gibbs uses delays so that the RB has a cutback lane. Problem is, slow developing run plays are about running to where a blitz came from, otherwise they are snuffed out very quickly by fast LB's.

I can see Tatum Bell becoming the regular starter next year with Droughns moving to Full back and Mike Anderson leaving the Broncos.

Denver needs to trade up in the draft and get a good rookie QB, because as much as it pains me to say it, Denver will never be a legitimate force with Plummer taking the snaps.

A positive has been the contribution of Ashley Lelie this year with both he and Rod Smith likely to break 1000 receiving yards each before seasons end.

We really miss Trevor Pryce though.
