rcc has just won the newcal championship 34-32 in front of a 3,000 crowd,which equates to 9,000 in oz.The match was attended by officials of the terriotry and nzrl-arl delegates.lets hope someone recognises the monetary potential of this place and some more matches happen here especially with the french national team.Hopefully the greeks can get a good crowd too.

French sporting officals have visited the island this year offering the spirit of co-operation and goodwill between the 2 rugbys,this was shown when a newcal winger signed with a french ru club,although firmly aligned with the x111 newcal is happy for the players to further their careers abroad in either code.

I was very surprized to find out that New Caladonia has a bigger population and a wealthier economy than all the other Pacific Nations put together.
I think we should really be putting in a big effort to get the game off the ground there.

New Caledonia eventually wants to put a team in the Qld Cup. They have more money as said then the rest of the Pacific, if they could grow in the number of teams and support, they could even represent the Pacific as a total.

Which will be put at the test against a federal selection. With the hope to interest of the clubs and to imitate MITUKU, which still currently hesitates between the XIII LIMOUXIN or Begles-Bordeaux wine XV.
