I know this has been done before, but in view of the fact we are a quarter (almost) of the way thru 2011 I thought I'd put it out there..

Poll time

Keep in mind a massive injury toll, and our fornm last year

Made the finals twice in eight years with single premiership with the talent we have is simply not acceptable. He must go. There have been too many examples of his mismanagement of talent, persisting with selecting Ryan on the wing, Morris in the halves, Moltzen at fullback, Harrison at prop, Brown in the centres and passing over talented blokes like Gallant at fullback, Head at halfback.

Also he needs to be held responsible for the Tigers inability to grind out wins, build pressure and consistently win the tight matches.

I've had more than enough. Sick of players being picked despite performing poorly. Ryan, Lui, Payton, Gibbs, Ayshford, Heighno, Fulton wouldn't get a run in a lot of other teams but guaranteed at the Tigers despite how they perform week in week out.

I'd be happy to see him go although I'd like to know who the replacement would be. We could do worse.

I'd love to see a coach that actually works on our defence. Thigns like stopping off loads and tell them tonot plant your feet in defence before you attempt to make a tackle

The club will need to have a strict disciplanarian as a replacement.

I reckon Folkes or Brown will get the top job here

I wouldnt be fussed if it were Folkes or Brown but Brown is a little more appealing as he is un-familiar with the squad so their wouldn't be any favouritism.(we hope)
or
Anyone who's got the balls to take the goalkicking duties away from Benji.

Throw some money Gus Goulds way. He does love the tigers so it may not be impossible to get him.

It would be the games biggest story since the knights getting Bennett, well bigger actually. I think he would love to coach players like Benji.

Folkes, Brown or Gould but, if Sheens does announce that he's heading back to Penrith then I think that he should be relived of his duties immediately and that being the case, Folkes step in until the permanent is announced.

Oh and he can take Gentles back to Penrith as well.

Gus said he would really consider going back to coaching when his contract expires at 9,that is at the end of next season,so he would need a release from his last year, but hell yeh worth a try.

Sheens is just like Sadam Hussain or Hosni Mubarack, we need the U.S to bomb his a$$ out of concord. He wont go easily.

Some names thrown up make me throw up:roll:

I want Sheens but if he decides to move on Gentle has to be it. He knows the Club, systems, players and no doubt had some say in recruitment and retention.

I would think that Gentle would be well down the list & precisely for the reasons you mention as the reasons to hire him. I think its time for a fresh start with new ideas, cause what we are doing now, isn't working. If nothing changes, then nothing changes.

Does Benji have a get out clause regarding Sheens?
I am sure that none of them have it anymore?
I think Benji is fantastic, but he (& Robbie ftm) is not leading anyone atm, one day we will have to play without him, we would survive. Though I would rather he be withus than against us. If only the bugger could kick?

All the paper talk this morning is saying WHEN Sheens goes, not IF he goes?
They are saying that the Tigers will terminate his contract immediately, with Folkes in a caretaker role till the EOS.
Also, they are rumoured to want to talk to Stuart? Fox sports news.
If Sheens does sign on to the Panthers & does get the chop effective immediately, I wonder if he will try & move in on Elliott? Would make compulsory viewing the next Tigers v Panthers game?
Bring it on!

I'm more than happy to terminate immediately and let Folkes caretake the side. This side needs a rocket up their ar#e right now before it's too late and Folkes just might be able to shake them up.
