NEW HALF 4 BALMAIN

I don't know where to start on the stupidity of this

We have Meigan, who I believe plays halfback or hooker at halfback

we have the clubs number one halfback who has previously also played fullback and wing (but NOT hooker) at hooker

and we have the clubs number two halfback on the bench

would it not be better to put a player who can actually play hooker at hooker and then one of the top two halves in the number seven?

He was a Bulldog junior who went to North Queensland two seasons back and didn't stick. And now is at the club.

One would've thouoght it would make more sense to play him at hooker but apparently not. I can understand Chase not getting the gig, but Nowland to hooker? What the??

Michael Meigan was on the bench for Cabramatta for the first couple of games this year. He is a local.

Michael Meigan is a Parra junior, he also played for the Bulldogs in jersey flegg before moving to NQ for two season. He is actually a five-eight not a half back. He didn't settle in up here and decided to move back to Sydney. He did show a lot of promise while up here and was sad to see him go. I wish him all the best with the Tigers.

Can anyone tell me how Brendan Rawlins, former Centrals Tigers, Townsville front rower is going for Balmain. I think he would be playing Flegg.

tread I haven't been to the last couple of games but the ones I have seen Rawlins has impressed in a big way!

A big boy and he runs hard - I'll be hoping we hang on to him thats for sure

Thanks for that brook.
It seems every year someone from here goes down to the Tigers.
At least they are going to the best club in Sydney. ;-)

We've had some top players from north queensland, I'm still missing Nashy this year :(

Nashy is a good player.
I heard he was going to Woy Woy, did he go there?

Yeah Woy Woy are now BRET's feeder club simular to how Balmain used Ryde Eastwood last year

So who knows next year Balmain could have a side called the

"Balmain Ryde Eastwood Woy Woy Tigers" or as people will say BREWWT
