Better than either of the current lurid nightmares, but still too "moderne". It has a trad sort of basis, but messes it up with tricky lines and flashy panels. Reminds me of how Souths stuffed up their great original jersey, with those god awful black and white panels etc. WT needs to get away from the trend in recent years of "muscle" panels, and dividing lines that resulted in atrocities like the Sharks and Cowboys clunkers a couple of years ago. Have noticed that some of the clubs that had the worst offenders have returned to their old 'retro' designs on a more consistent basis. You cannot beat great designs that worked for decades, that people recognize. Basic horizontal hoops, single colour blocks, "V's" always work, never suck, and people generally like them. The retro jerseys sell big for a reason. Keep the experimentation and oddball designs for training tops etc. The initial 2000 design was not bad. Apart from the "flash" in the "V", it was a fairly basic RL pattern. Worked well in the 3x colours for both versions. Just MHO of course. Not trying to tell others what they like.
