Apparently the new jersey next season has a new sponsor
The 3 year deal was either a 2+1 deal or a 3rd year contingent on certain things being achieved.
Dare say Proton won't be on the jersey next year ...

I hope we get a new design.....I liked the current design initially, but Im now sick of it, like many originally said, its too busy, too messy...hope we go back to a more traditional type jersey....the Foundation Cup design gives me hope for this.
As for back to the old days of new season//new sponsor....well, thats what we do best.

Could not agree more. After 3 long years with the psychedelic abomination that passes for a jersey, something traditional would be fantastic. Basic 1908 style stripes, alternating magpies B&W and Balmain B&G would do nicely. That current one fails to provide a visual impact with a crowd.

To be honest, I'd be happy if they just alternated between the traditional Wests and Balmain jerseys (the ones they've used for the 60s, 70s and 80s weeks), perhaps with some sort of commemorative crest celebrating 100 years.

Those would do fine also.

I liked the jerseys we wore in the first year of the merger.

Love having the big V on the chest....and its linked with both sides of the marriage.

When I think of strong Balmain and Wests they both had the V up front.

I'm hoping that its similar to the intial jerseys but with no curves....

Ronald won't go back to black and white stripes
If you'll recall, the Hamburglar wore black and white stripes and used to swipe junior burgers
Ronald will be making submissions to the board
There is also a new NRL/Centenary logo which will be on all team jerseys\

Do you reckon noyce or that justin shmuck cretin had the foresight to put in a call to Tiger Airways seeing as they are cranking up for a big slice of our aviation market. Or would such foresight have been beyond them ?

I like the orange jersey they wore in the 2005 GF, they should play in that one every week, it's awesome.

Better than either of the current lurid nightmares, but still too "moderne". It has a trad sort of basis, but messes it up with tricky lines and flashy panels. Reminds me of how Souths stuffed up their great original jersey, with those god awful black and white panels etc. WT needs to get away from the trend in recent years of "muscle" panels, and dividing lines that resulted in atrocities like the Sharks and Cowboys clunkers a couple of years ago. Have noticed that some of the clubs that had the worst offenders have returned to their old 'retro' designs on a more consistent basis. You cannot beat great designs that worked for decades, that people recognize. Basic horizontal hoops, single colour blocks, "V's" always work, never suck, and people generally like them. The retro jerseys sell big for a reason. Keep the experimentation and oddball designs for training tops etc. The initial 2000 design was not bad. Apart from the "flash" in the "V", it was a fairly basic RL pattern. Worked well in the 3x colours for both versions. Just MHO of course. Not trying to tell others what they like.

do u like the training/foundation jerseys?

Which ones are those? The "100 years"(team of the century?) one from a few years ago, with the broad black, white, gold horizontal stripes? Or are they more recent? Is there a link to them?
