Hello

Probably not the best option to be posting my first today but I only found out about this joint at the game today off a St George fan.

I'm not one of those though thankfully.

I am one very diappointed Sharkies fan though after that display.

G'day Bronzey, unfortunately I've been a disappointed sharks fan for 30 years (except the memorable Amco Cup victory which the popper no doubt remembers and I was able to witness .. the more things change the more they stay the same, eh ..)

Still, today's game was a long way from their worst this season. I'm still smarting over the $50 I spent going to see them "play" against the raiders at bruce.

It was a long way from being our worst performance. More positives than negatives came out of the game IMO.

Some of the footy we played in the 15 min leading upyo 1/2 time was as good as anyone has played all year. Some exhilerating stuff there. Not many teams can get 2nd and 3rd phase attack happening better than us.

Some great defence in our 20 today too - other days we would have leaked 3 or 4 more tries through weight of possession against us.

If we cut the silly errors we are genuine top 8 material and could be a loose cannon in the finals.

Thanks for the welcomes fellas, I'm sure I'll have some fun discussing "pertinent Rugby League" matters here

That should just about give away my vintage ha ha ha

If I disagree with something I assume it's ok to do so here?

chili pepper, I don't think I agree with this 100%

Isn't it a matter of where we are as a team at a different time of the year? Earlier when we were having losses to lesser lights we had more excuse to play as badly as we did today. I look at the growth of the team over the last month and how we won 2, went close against the Berries and judge today on current form.

At out current improvement we should be 100% better than todays showing. And the second phase was pushed and resulted in at least half the errors I thought. Could be wrong I suppose.

Anyway it's just another setback in the construction of a footy team in the end.

Welcome BW,

You are indeed showing your age - 'The Berries'. I'd suggest that you may well be in the vintage of myself, 30YR and S1973 plus others. All long time suffering fans but the day will come.

And yes you can disagree with anybody at anytime. Just back up your arguments with logic and or facts. If you don't agree or get on with the other forummers, so be it.
