New name for the NRL?

errr its not a national comp! It is neither national in Australia and it includes another country so cannot be national even if Perth, Adelaide, Darwin and Hobart were in it.

ps the AFL doesn't call itself the NAFL does it? (although I quite think the NAF League fits it well!)

By that logic, lets punt Canberra, Newcastle and NZ - lose 3.5 million fans. Insert Burnie, Margaret River and Katherine, and gain 30 000 fans.

i think we have to go further than this and change our name from Rugby League. across the world, noone knows the difference between rugby union and rugby league. and rugby union, being the more well known game, and it being boring as hell, we are fighting a very uphill battle internationally. The rugby part of our name has to go imo.

Traitor league fan? It's because of the Super League war that I became a league fan.

I don't have a problem with the name NRL. The only way that should change is by dropping 'Rugby' and then Super League would be an option. It seems to work in the U K.

It's easy to avoid simple questions and say someone's on drugs. But the question is valid. You state constantly that nothing can be national is it doesn't include Perth. All theories must stand the test of scrutiny. If you are to stupid or gutless to submit your theory to scrutiny, then your theory is crap, and so are you.

You can bitch and moan about how terrible it is that Perth doesn't have a club and Sydney's havent died yet. The fact is that I have a team to support. You don't. Read it and weep, troll.
