I can hear fooeys in it now you mention it. I like the heavier stuff so I am curious how it turns out completed. Heavy stuff is better then Amerciana & most other stuff on the radio currently. So that's something

At least the Foo Fighters and the Offspring make Green Day seem more than mediocre.

Green Day described as punk??

Sure....let's call James Blunt speed metal!!

Didn't realise they were still around, gave up on them after Ixnay and hadn't been paying attention..

Still listen to Ignition quite often.

Agree with earlier comments though.. Very times like these in parts.

One of my favourite punk albums of all time. Offspring haven't been relevant for nearly 15 years now though, I can't believe people still manage to keep them in business.

I haven't watched the video, but no doubt it's some song designed to make the tweens happy.

Offspring haven't been as good since 'Americana'. Funny thing is, when it was released in 1998 I thought it was THE coolest album!

Americana was a terrible album, with the exception of perhaps Staring at the Sun. Ixnay was a great album, with one probably their best ever song in Gone Away, but unfortunately it also triggered the pop punk degeneration that we see today.

I liked some of Americana, I think it gets looked down on because of the stupid songs like Pretty Fly and Why Don't You Get A Job. There's some good stuff on there though.

have you ever, staring at the sun, kids aren't alright, feelings, walla walla, no brakes, americana, pay the man (which was close to best on the album, once you get through the start of it) are all great tracks... and even though it's the kind of poppy stuff people grew to detest about them, i really liked she's got issues.

Well try & watch channel V or listen to nova. There's your answer compare even Sh!t shack to that & it's decent. I don't mind the recent albums bar the singles. There's some decent songs there. The last album hammerhead was the best

The offspring are still going? man, they should have given up after splinter, rise and fall rage and grace was decent for a few songs, but became crappier as the album went on.
They'll be doing we to sell 100 copies of his new record
