New players in Premier League

There were a a few unknown newcomers in the Premier League trial last night:

Jeremy Smith - plays lock, was with Port Kembla last year

Kurt Puohotaua - don't know much about him except he played in the Batercard Cup in NZ for Mt. Albert

Zenai Bajraktari - played Jim Beam Cup for Newtown last year.

Anyone know more about any of these guys ?

Apparently Jeremy Smith is actually a fullback and has played lower grades with St. George-Illawarra.

Pene Fiti was playing rugby union in Wagga.

these guys are trialing only, one would imagine?

Maybe someone more in the know may shed some light....dont all NRL clubs have open trails? Then the ones that stand out get a run in the squad trails?

Smith had a good game. I remember looking at the program a few times to see who was number ?? and quite often it was him.

None of the others stood out for me.

Pelo looked OK but needs work. Worth sticking with.

Goodwin supposedly had a good game. Ross had a shocker with his hands, which is quite typical for him. He shouldn't play on the wing, centre is his position.
