*thinking something positive...*

Oh!
The only halfback that has won a SOO series with NSW in the last 11, or is it 12? years!!!

156 games worth of experience for Pissflap jnr, Jacky Williams any other young halfs and even Mythlan and Coiffee who would be junior to him as far as halfback experience. 78% goalkicker, not that shabby considering that record includes his years at Newie. Great short kicking game. Good passer both sides.

The last few years has proven we have superrb injury management as well. So what if he has a chronic knee. It will be managed and he will have passed medical exams wherever he signs.

I think he’s been looked at for what’s in his head, not whats left in his legs.

Here to guide flanno jr.
No old head half to pass on the finer details of running a side.

Agree with all this but curious as to what playing with Newie has to do with his goal kicking percentage? Do Newie only score tries in the corner?

Agree Frenzy, if it allows Flanno Jnr to be eased in and say play 8-12 games 1st year that will help, and short kicking game rolling ball into the ingoal huge help, CT does long kicking game.

Plus Moylan at fullback and Holmes on the wing

Yp, and sounds like a real decent person so likely a great mentor.

Yes, because they had no penetration through the middle etc etc.

However his goalkicking at Newie was actually OK on closer look. 83 & 80%. It was in 2015 at the Dogs he only got 66% playing on one leg and got a dislocated wrist. Thats dragged his overall percentage down.

Holmes is only at 71% in the NRL for the record. Will probably get the job but needs to lift that.

If w're relying on Holmes to win us games with his kicking on a consistent basis we're in trouble imo.

The best kickers are the ones who kick at least 100 in game attempts per year consistently.
A couple of shots here and there as a fill in, just don’t cut it.

You guys think Hodgo is being signed to play 6 straight away?

IMO its for when Paris MK2 cant spark enough from the back and we are under the pump come round 10.

Muuzaaaa to FB , Holmes to score 5 million pies outside of Duges and Hodgo to 6.

All is right then with the team.
