good doco on fox at the moment about the New York Dolls.
Its called New york Doll and it follows the story of their bass player Authur Kane.
After they broke up Authur becomes a fully blown pisshead and jumps out of a window of a 3rd story building.
While in hospital he finds god in the form the mormons.
He becomes a door knocker.
..anyway 30 years later in 2004 they get asked to reform for a Morrisey organised extravaganza.
Authur reunties with his band mates...well whats left of them...3 of them died.
It is sad but very compelling viewing...he is not exactley the full quid and to watch these old blokes trying to be cool is pretty depressing.
I wont give away the end.
