Disagree, but it will take time for the club to build up to where their ambition currently lies. It won't happen immediately, but they were not helped by playing both Saints and Broncos in the 1st 3 weeks. They'll get better.

Personally I think they'll improve and expect them to be playing in a GF within 3 years. be patient & support your bloody side. At this rate they'll be known as the Newcastle Titans, fickle is not something I'd usually associate with Knights fans.

Seriously though apart from only being round 3, the Knights have played 2 matches without a 5/8.

With the Dragons most of the puzzle pieces were already there and it was up to Bennett to add a couple more and make them fit. He did it and did it well.

With the Knights it's a little different. Bennett has some of the pieces, but he doesn't have the roster that he wants yet. Knights will make a couple more offers for off contract players for next season.

I definitely think the hype was over the top. It was never going to be an instant result situation.

I think most of us thought it was a myth they were instant title contenders just because Bennett is now coaching, but they will come good.

I was going to make this thread but I didn't wanna be a complete jerk.

I expected them to just romp through the season with their squad and coach but based on last night, that's quite a way off happening, I though they were poor against Cronulla but Cronulla just couldn't execute but last night was atrocious for both teams really.

I hope they come good because they really deserve to be a top team with that roster, time will tell.
