Watch out for the youngsters to impress. McManus and Uate will cut them to shreds.

Frenzy.

Uate's a gun. Will he play left or right wing?

Hope he plays right so Unco can arrest his development

Number 5 has always been left wing at the Knights, but I can't confidently tell you which side he'll play on.

Yeah it's usually left at the Sharks as well. I've really only seen Uate play once. Last years GF. That was enough to see he's something out of the box though.

Glad he's coming to The Sharks next year.

Aku is from around here. Nice guy, a wierdo in fights but. If a fight in the field breaks out look for him to run around and around and around waving his arms in the air. He won't be a winger for long - he'll go back to his normal fullback spot. A bit clueless in defense if numbers are at him but f**k me that step and pace is a pain in the arse to try and tackle!! One game he did his little benji step and injured two players in one run(put one out for nearly the season).. I forget which way it is but every time on kick returns he goes to (say) the right and someone highlighted this in the schoolboys comp(when he came back for year 12 for a 2nd time to play footy) and their team lost because he got shut down.

Still very fast, strong and that step will get him places.

Be interesting to see how much muscle Brian Smith is allowed to flex at Newcastle.
Mad Dog doesn't play trials.
Hasn't played one for about 8 seasons, and will be trying to keep the powder dry til round one.
Normally he pulls out about thursday.

Back to you Brian.

Mad Dog is crap, what a waste of money buying him even for the small amount they would have paid. More injury prone than Matt Rogers, Stephen Larkham and Jason Ryles put together!

Terrible outside backs and soft forward pack. we will destroy this side.

Newcastle centre Adam MacDougall will miss the clash, replaced by Brad Tighe, after having a small plate inserted into his jaw after copping a knock last week.
"It's only minor," said Smith, adding 'Mad Dog' should be okay for round one.

Obviously not as much muscle as you had at Parramatta Brian.
There is a core group of players that have run the knights for years.
They saw that the knights stayed with ARL - a decision which has seen the club stone broke ever since - while they made millions between them.
They also brought about the end of one of the game's greats in Warren Ryan.
They decide who plays and when.
Have a good year Brian.

p.s. On the money again S73. We salute you.

Just informing you of a fact.
