Newtown Jets fans...

Are there any Jets fans now here after RLeauge.com has been shut down? I know that some the Newtown people are looking at setting up their own forum, but just wondering where all the Jets fans have to. And we all know where mono_mal has moved to!!!!

And no smart arsed replies saying that 'cos Newtown don't play in the NRL they are dead, we all know the Jets are very much alive and kicking!

I know that Bluebag as set up camp at rabbitohs.com, but I've not seen any others from the old Jets forum.

Any chance of getting one set up on this forum??

I just joined. Bluebag is still around on Rabbitohs.com. I am sometimes too.

DT-1 is still around the traps. I'll see him on Sunday I think. I ear he's quite busy with work and stuff.

I mainly hang around totalrl.com and occassionally visit Rochdale Hornets.

Bluebag,

How did the club do in selling merchandise at the Newtown & Glebe festivals.

Thanks for asking. Newtown trade was very good. Up on last year I believe. That is always the biggest festival. Glebe slow buty it always is. I think we still made money. I just got home from it 3 hrs ago.

Newtown and Marrickville are always the busy ones. Dulwich Hill, Glebe and Earlwood are more about publicity (since they only make a bit of money).

I think Tempe will do well. Apparently the turnout will be OK. It's a one-off park opening (30 November). And it will be a good showcase to the community of the Jets Sports Club (since it doesn't really advertise). Be there!

That was the plan but having a look at how they finished up it would not be right to have sold them as they were.
