The postponed fixture between Newtown and Canterbury will be played this Wednesday 27 June, kicking off at 7pm at Henson Park.

The announcement is due to be made in the next Jets email.

On the plus side Newtown has the bye next week so the players will have extra long to recover before the clash against Manly the following week.

Hope to see you all there.

Awesome I can get pissed on a Wednesday night! Just put in my leave form for the 28th. I reckon we should gather for a few frosty ones beforehand.

The Two top placed teams within a period of 4 days. Should be interesting. If the guys can win these games anything is possible. The long break is a good thing as well afterwards.

It will make the 4 points that much sweeter 2TB!

Not sure about any injuries arising from the match on Saturday.

It's been raining up here but not that heavily. I don't have the Bulldogs team but I'd say with Origin it is a good time for us to play them.

Notice heath missing though. This bloke was awesome against the eels. Man of the match in my books.

Its raining up here so I presume Sydney is still copping it. Cheer loud whoever goes. Sounds like it was a good crowd at the eels game for "Beat the crowd". How about "Boo a berrie" for future Canterbury games to raise the crowds.

I don't think the Hill Bar will be opening tonight so most people will be standing near the Canteen methinks.

Given the cold conditions the sale of beanies will go through the roof. The night can be promoted as "Boo a Berrie-Buy a Beanie"
