The Knights can't drop out of the eight - that is concrete.
But I don't think anyone would want to drop a game on the basis that they were resting players who weren't injured.
BK is injured - by all means rest the fellow.
Tahu pulled up sore, as did others, so if they don't feel up to it then give them an extra week of recovery.
But if resting players is anything like a player rotation system to give young guys a go then I'd stop it now - there is not much point in putting players into first grade before their ready, even if for only one game. If it was one player amongst a lot of experience then sure, but mass restings and mass promotions - I'd hope that we're not doing that whilst in 7th place.
We'll need all hands on deck for the first week of the finals, and I'd be hoping that BK and Tahu etc wouldn't play if it meant compromising their fitness for the first week. BK has proven over the years he is able to return from injury at the drop of a hat - it takes all of 20 seconds to find his feet again, and suddenly he is making metres for us again. Quality players can do that - BK is an essential component in getting the forwards to do their job.
Besides those carrying injury - significant injury- keep all players on deck because the Cowboys aren't as easy as some people may think - we should win by 20 or 30 though if we play a full team minus BK and Tahu.
