Next year - Dragons stronger

I really thinkwe will have a stronger side in 2002,my side for next season would look like this Fullback - Reece Simmonds (this guy has looked special in the reggies and deserves a run). Wingers - Amos Roberts (this guy is NOT a fullback, I hope Farrar wakes up to himself and realises as much) Nathan Blacklock (one of the best in the game) Centres - Gasnier (will play more rep footy next year, the outstanding backline prospect in our team) Cooper/ Hookey (not sure which of these two will step up to the mark, will Hookey stay ??) Five Eighth - Barrett (please somebody in our team step up to the plate and take some pressure of Trent, the one thing that scares me is that he becomes another Fittler (rooters rely on Freddy way too much)and the weight of expectation is too great. Half - Kimmorley (if he comes) otherwise Kerr/Peters alternating off the bench Lock - Timmins (defensively we will be soooo much better with him in the side) Second Row - Thompson (loves playing in the Red and White, deserves to be captain in 2002) Bailey (read Timmins) Props -Ryles/ Ross (these guys will be the new book ends) Hooker - Riddell (one of the buys of 2001) Bench - Hooper (Mr versatility but not a starting player) -Nero (please come through) -Felch - Tutt ( hope your another Blacklock, Riddell) Bolters - Nero, Donnelly, Kativerata, Gorrell Players from this year Bartrim - won't be missed, only a shadow of the player of 96 Ainscough - will miss him defensively, but we can cover it Smith - when he is on the field, irreplacable but how often does he play ? Ward/Tracey - do a lot of work, but we can cover them McGreggor - shouldn't have played this year at all, could have developedHookey and Cooper Fitzgerald - we'll miss this guy, leftbecause Farrar insisted on using Bartrim Leikvoll - off to the reggies, too fat too slow, great heart Hart - will miss the Hart that played the last few weeks, where was he the rest of the season ? Hornby - please go to Souths !!!

IMO, the best signing we've had so far this year is Luke Flelsch.
An experience 2nd rower, a St George man and he should go great.
But when it comes to bringing new talent into the team, there's not much else to speak off.
Andrew Farrar, when asked about Kimmorley on the Footy Show, just gave a wry smile and said 'we're always looking for good players'.
I honestly think Kimmotley would do better at Saints than he will at Manly next year but we'll have to wait and see.

I agree. The losses in experience are great but many of those players were in their last year anyway.
With respect to McGregor, I'm glad to see the back of him. I had no idea what he thought of Ainscough but I lost count of the amount of times he left Ainsy unmarked on the wing and ran infield only to then pass a dump of a ball when the room to move was gone.

The 1st Divvies are going great this year and hopefuly we'll see a few of them promoted to 1st grade in 2002.

I don't to as many games as I'd like to, but when I have the 1st division side has always played with plenty of skill.
I cannot give any names, but I think the club's in pretty good shape with these guys as the future.
Half back is our biggest problem. I don't think Peters is good enough, but Kerr has promise
Obviously Kimmorly or even Paul Green would be great signings for us, and what we would need to be serious contenders for the title.

Ok.... Firstly Hookey i think was released he will go to souths.
I agree with Reccer SImmons to full back roberts to wing.
Kimmorley has just about put pen to paper.
I think hooper should play lock and Cooper to the bench.
Was treacy released?
I think Bailey should be starting prop not 2nd row.
Timmins and Gasnier the centres.

I think these are the Kangaroo tour chances.
Barrett 100%
Blacklock 100%
Ryles 50%
Gasnier 25%

Is Timmins 100% for next year

"bout it for now.

Ciao
