I was particularly dark on Zeke getting robbed since I've had money on him for that award since before the season. QB love is pathetic in this league sometimes.

I'm obviously biased... but I think Mack was better.

Don't get me wrong... Von Miller is amazing... and he showed everyone that in the playoffs last season...

But I actually think it's unfair to Von Miller to compare the two...

They are basically on par as pass rushers... I could even agree that Miller is slightly better than Mack as a pass rusher...

But where Mack beats Miller is against the run... What makes Mack so unique is the fact he's one of the very best pass rushers and also at the top echelon of run stoppers...

He's even got a pick six FFS...

Miller is f**king awesome... but I think it would have been crazy to deny Mack here...

But I'm a biased Raiders fan... lol

Dude.... those numbers don't tell the whole story...

It's more than just the number of stops... Of course Miller will have more stops... teams are far more likely to run it at Miller than they are at Mack... NO ONE runs at Mack.

You also missed Macks 5 forced fumbles to Millers 3... and Macks 3 fumble recoveries to Millers 0.

And Miller hasn't had a pick 6 in about half a decade...

You need to look at the entire picture... QB pressures, QB hits, Tackles for loss etc...

The best way to show this value is to go and check the PFF grades...

Mack is the highest overall grade for edge defenders this season... Miller is 4th...

I was looking through the wiki list to see a break in the QB x5 (or10) then RB x1 cycle, hoping for a DE or LB then whoa!!!

I thought it was a bit of a down year for defensive players
No one really stood out the way they have in previous years

I think Mack or Von would have been worthy winners this year, id have probably shaded it ever so slightly to Von. But i got no qualms with Mack winning

Prescott over Zeke is absolutely ridiculous. That's straight up theft. Dak's a good QB no doubt and his season was great but it's made possible because of Zeke and that line, without them Dak would look a lot more like the 4th rounder he was. Im not just saying this because im a homer eagles fan, but if you switched Wentz and Dak around, I think the eagles are 1-2 games worse off and the Cowboys 1-2 games better.

Zeke is already in the Lev/DJ discussion for best RB in the league.
