Hey guys, just joined today to talk some NFL with Australians. Been a fan since i was a little kid, and its always been a big challange to find people to talk to about it.

That time of year again guys, show your predictions here

Biggest Breakout Player: Joe Flacco QB BAL
Biggest Bust Player: Kevin Kolb QB PHI

Totally agree with these two predictions, mainly because they are from the two teams i follow. I know its only pre-season, but Joe Flacco has been playing outstanding football, and i'm just wondering if their pass-happy offence will continue into the regular season.

I've always been a big eagles fan, until they ditched McNabb. Kolb is looking to be a complete bust. Cannot wait for the Eagles v Redskins games this year. Watch Deseann Jackson's hype drop with Kolb at the helm

anyway......

MVP (Most Valuable Player): Payton Manning QB Ind
Offensive MVP (Other then MVP): Joe Flacco QB Bal
Defensive MVP (Other then MVP): Julius Peppers DE Bears
Coach of the Year: Marvin Lewis, CIN
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Jimmy Clausen QB CAR (potentially, if he gets to start during the season)
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Eric Berry FS KAN
Comeback Player of the Year: T.O. WR CIN
NFC Championship Game: Saints vs Packers
AFC Championship Game: Colts vs Ravens
Superbowl Matchup and Winner: Ravens vs Packers, Ravens Win
Superbowl MVP: Ray Rice RB BAL
Biggest Surprise Team: Cincinnati Bengals
Biggest Disappointment Team: Vikings
Biggest Breakout Player: Joe Flacco QB BAL
Biggest Bust Player: Brett Farve QB MIN
First Coach Fired:Ken Whisenhunt
Other Predictions:
- Competition in the AFC will be tight, while the NFC will be lack-luster this year
- Dallas Cowboys are knocked out of playoffs in the wildcards
- Jets fall short of their hype
- Bengals will emerge as a darkhorse
- Jay Cutler will continue to dissappoint
- Tebow will be traded at the end of the year

Welcome owsla, always good to have some new knowledgeable people join the forum

Tebow will be traded at the end of the year

Most of your predictions seem entirely possible, except this one, This kid is bringing in so much money for the Broncos, like the money he brings in in one day is probably more then i will earn in a life time. Do you know what he has done for the Broncos since he joined them in April? There is now 65,000 person long waiting list for Denver Broncos Season Tickets, not to mention that his jersey is the most sold by a fair margin, the kid is a money magnet. No way he gets traded, in fact i wouldn't be surprised if he starts next season for them (but i wouldn't count on it)

Thats exactly why i think he will be traded. Right now he is listed as their 3rd string QB, and Orton is more than capable as their started, so Tebow's game time will be limited to situations where the Broncoes have nothing to loose by putting him in. There are still major questions about his throwing action being to slow as well. So as it stands he is basically just a draw card, and obviously he is doing well for the broncoes in that respect.

Come next season there will be a team that NEEDS a starting quarterback as well as a major draw card (personally i'd like to see him go to Jacksonville). I think Orton will still be starting for the Broncoes, making Tebow a massive barginning chip because technically (as far as the team goes) he is not needed. I could see the right teams would probably trade players and draft picks for to get him.

Again, these are just predictions and based on nothing other than my own opinions. I mean the season hasn't even started yet. He could be the next Jamarcus at the end of the day, making both our predictions wrong.
