I recently got a Dell computer & all I can say is

THEY ARE SH!TE.

I ordered a PC with 256mb, 40HDD & Pentium 4 2.26GHz

What is got was 128mb, 30HDD & Celeron 2.2GHz

Calling the Tech number you get Malaysia & I spoke to Raja aka, Kevin, David, Paul, Keith or whatever name he is using.

My CD Rom was not working so I called them & was on hold for about 1 hour.

I explained to Kevin, that my CD Rom was not working, his reply was, you got ResourceCD put in CD rom & install files.

My reply was something like this.

@#$%@#$% CD rom is not @#$#%%#% working so how can I @$%%$% install the #@%$@^% files.

When I last spoke to the sales people, they told me the computer I ordered did not contain speakers or a modem, but they sent it to me by mistake, I said if you think I will send, they better think again.

I have just found out the modem I got is cr@p as well.

I am now using my external modem, as I don't want to ring Dell up again.

But on a good note I have a Lexmark X1150 ALL in one.

It was on sale at Kmart & it works like dream.

I can scan my photos, but I won't put them on the net as I don't want the loonies stalking.

PS: Did you miss my posts seeing as I haven't been able to log on for about 1 week.

Well I could log on but only for a few mins.

Dell's best salesmen is driving in the Aust Rally Championship. He is driving an Ex factory Subaru that was used by Dean Herridge. Maybe you could go and see him at the Flaken Tyres rally of Queensland next year.

He speaks english, but he probably couldn't give a shit about your computer, and personally i don't blame him.

I found the worst thing about Dell was ringing Tech Support and speaking to some guy/girl in India (that's where they divert you) who was extremely hard to understand and also had poor understanding of English. You end up spending half an hour explaining the same thing over and over. Very annoying.
