NFT-How low can some people go?

There's a guy in our street who makes a huge effort every year to decorate his yard for Christmas. He's a seperated father of two girls, and puts the cut outs and lights up every year for his two girls who come to stay with him over Christmas, and for the young people in our area.
Last night some bunch of dead set drop kicks stole all his cut outs, and cut all the cables to the thousands of lights in his yard!! I just cannot believe there are dead sh!ts like that around, what possible motivation is there in doing something like that? Acts like that defy reason. Tell you what if I caught them I'd kick their arses from here to next year.

That sucks so much!

I can't understand people doing things like this, especially at this time of year.

Something similar happened up here a couple of weeks back in Loganholme. Cost them $1500 to repair it. They repaired it this year, but said they won't be doing a display next year. The police think it was competitors in the christmas lights display.

We have one house here that's an elderly couple well into retirement that lights up the whole yard and house every year without fail. They encourage the people who stop to look to get out and walk around the yard to see it all.

We got talking to them 2 years ago and asked why they did it. They had a son who was killed in a car accident on his way home for Xmas one year and this is there way of remembering him.

Last year some morons thought it would be funny to trash their yard one night and steal some of the decorations. These said morons had this elderly couple nearly give up doing it all together.

Luckily the morons got caught due to the popularity of this couple's house every year and they got made to repair and replace the decorations .. and now have to help the couple to decorate their house at Xmas so everyone can enjoy.

That happened to us in Tamworth too... we went to turn on or lights one night and half the bulbs were either stolen or smashed with the lights missing.

It hasn't happen in Port Macquarie, although you here it happening.

What a disgrace. It's unAustralian and it makes me ashamed to be part of the human race when I hear stories like this. :x  Some people are just total scum and they should be punished accordingly.

That behavious is so low. And extremely puzzling - I don't understand how people get the idea to damage other people's property.

My mum and I were at a freinds shop yesterday and they pulled the dress caps off her table outside and put them in the dog water.

She went after then and they said "we didn't do it"... we sat there and saw them do it

That's really horrible! We have a family on like the main street of our suburb who always go all out for christmas. The lights, the nativity scene on the front lawn, the cut outs, and everything and last year some heartless b@stards stole some of their stuff. I'm not sure that was the first time either, as they said if it happened one more time they wouldnt bother setting it up again. We've talked to the family before and they have to be one of the nicest families and it just makes you wonder what type of people these thieves are. I mean here's a family who takes there time to set up their place so it looks nice and everybody can feel the spirit of christmas and somebody goes and steals their stuff. But why? is it cus it makes them feel big? do they think its funny? This is one of those houses you love driving by at this time of year and sumtimes u just have stop out the front and look. they aren't harming any one. The people who do this kinda thing are downright scum.

I feel like smashing those bastards. why do people have to do stuff like that? its because it makes the whole neighbourhood happy to see the lights, and people put so much effort into doing it, they get satisfaction from ruining it, because they hate to see the christmas cheer. what sickens me is they really want to hurt the people
