My friend Jason has just bought the latest release December '03 Sony X-plod car stereo. He had it shipped in from Japan - it's voice activated and has a selection of over 8,000 MP3 digital songs in it's memory. You speak out the type of music you want played, it recognises your vocal patterns, and picks a selection of songs accordingly. So, if you're driving along and you want rock music, yell out 'rock' and it selects 20 random rock tracks, same if you say 'techno,' or 'R&B.'
Jason was reversing out of his driveway this morning to come into work when some kids on their bikes teared past and he almost collected them on the back of his car.
