Is anyone here going to be seeing him over the next few days in Sydney?

I shall be seeing him on Friday night, and I am actually looking forward to it. It definately should be a good night.

Has anyone seen him live before, if so is there anything that he could do that would be really interesting?

well...you get some artists that are as good, if not better live than they are recorded.

pete murray is not one of these artists.

He was at our Uni big gig....i couldnt get there but heard good things about the singing ect....the only negative thing i heard was a lacking in stage presence (i cant think of another name) ummm maybe lacking in charisma...whatever, you know what i mean.

I've heard he's playing in the city (the metro?), at Castle Hill and out at Penrith.

Are you going to his city show Mel?

Yeah I am going to the show at the Metro.

He is playing there tomorrow night and also on Saturday night

He is playing so many shows in Sydney atm, because he is so popular atm.

I even heard that he was coming back to Sydney as soon as next month because so many people wanna see him live!

I've heard that Pete's pretty good live - which sort of makes sense to me because I thought he used to play at pubs prior to getting a recording contract. I can sort of understand the comments that have been made about charisma - he's been on a few shows (even the Footy Show) and he didn't come across as being a very engaging person.

I considered going to his Sydney show till I was told it had been sold out.

Yeah, I said the same thing about him when I saw him on the footy show the other week, he did look kinda boring on stage!

I wasn't even considering going, and then my man turned around and said, keep the 26th of march free (this was like a month or more ago now) and I was like why? and he wouldn't tell me, and then lucky for me, he sent a message to his friend to ask him if him and his girlfriend wanted to come along, well he thought he did, but he infact sent it to me!

So I found out and I have been excited about it ever since.

I'm going shopping for a new shirt to wear at some stage today. The scary thing about it though is that I think that I have to go to Bankstown to get it :(

I hate going to Bankstown!!! I hope that the store at Hurstville has it!

I have seen pete murray twice now and both concerts were unreal, I think he has a great live voice. I am going to see him again in april , I'm looking forward to it.

Its weird, i'm a fan of the style of music, but Pete Murray just doesn't appeal to me, i think he's just a little too generic. I think he needs to differentiate himself through some kind of meaning in his songs. Try and convey a message or something if that makes sense.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean.

I am the total opposite to you though. You are a fan of the style of music, but he doesn't appeal to you. Me on the other hand, I'm not a big fan of this style of music (I am starting to lean towards liking it more than I used to though), but he does appeal to me!

I am leaving very shortly! I'm more excited about going to the game tomorrow night than I am about going to Pete Murray. Is that strange? I don't think that it is!!!! :D

Last night was great!

Pete Murray was really good performance wise and kept me interested all night.

I was actually surprised, when I realised that Mark Riddell and Lee Bennett from the Dragons were standing infront of me. My boyfriend, made sure that everyone within yelling distance knew that he was there, saying that he is a "celebrity" and he shouldn't be allowed to go out and not be recognised! *shakes head*
