I dont think i could deal with the elderly, i found it hard dealing with elderly at the RSL where i used to work and they could do things for themselves!

It's only natural for me to help them out. They practically raised me so I'm re-paying them the favour as none of their kids seem to have time to do it.

Besides that fact ... I can at least have the memories of them way more then the rest of the family will as they hardly ever come visit. Makes it more special for me.

I normally only have one day of the weekend off, and it is spent mowing lawns, cleaning the house, fumigating the toilet, driving relatives out into the middle of nowhere and leaving them for dead etc....although I do find time to catch a movie every now and then.

I would really like a 3 day weekend every fortnight.....I may introduce that when I install a puppet regime in Canberra ( different one that we currently have ). I figure it would reduce unemployment and inflation.

Anyway, looking after infirmed people is an incredibly tough job. All my best wishes go out to you.

What a wonderful thing to do. I can't even begin to imagine how much work that is though. My grandparents are overseas and so I have little concept of how much time and patience it would take to help out elderly people. Knightsmurf, you are a star.

I rarely see my grand parents on either side.

Which I guess is a bit of a shame, but I've never known any better, so it doesn't really bother me.

I usually spend it in bed sleeping, or if I decide to relocate to the lounge room to watch a movie or something, I will eventually end up passing out there and sleeping for a few more hours.

Take last Thursday fro example. I woke up at 9am, was back asleep by 11:30-12, and my dad woke me up at 3 to take him to work, came home, went back to sleep till 5 and went out till about 9 and then wondered why I couldnt sleep when I wanted to go to bed haha!

If I do decide that sleep is too boring or it's too hot for it, I will go out and usually partake in some retail therapy (like I did at lunch today), or go to the beach and relax
